The clothes I wished I owned
Hi,
In between studying and working, my favorite way to kill time is to obsessively read clothing blogs and Vogue. Now since I have over a 100 websites bookmarked in my "clothes" folder I thought I would share. And so without further ado, here is my input on fall trends.
I cannot: Pistachio trend. I think they started calling this at the "it" color of fall and late summer in like early June. And I am sorry I don't know what it is I just can't do it. This color screams to I am trying way too fucking hard to be cool and edgy. And honestly depending on the hue can look like vomit.
I can: Pink. I am loving the pinks and purples, as much as my 6 year old self did (my fav color was pinky purple). I am specifically a huge fan of pink blazers and coats accents.
I cannot: Leopard slip skirt. If everyone is doing it. Stop doing it. If its a meme and an instagram account STOP DOING IT. Heaven sakes. If I see one more leopard print skirt pop up on who what wear with the caption "going strong", I might cry.
I can: Animal print shoes. Hell yeah baby. Keep the animal print trend alive in subtler ways. You don't need to scream I am on top of the trends, instead showing your sexy wilder side complemented by beautiful basics.

MUSIER is an amazing Paris brand that in my opinion defines French cool girl. A life goal of mine is to be one of their muses.
Amina Muddadi- Karma Crystal- Embellished Leather Pumps
Amina Muddadi is my current shoe obsession. You really don't need to wear anything else apart from her shoes. You could be naked with a pair of her pumps on and still be 10x cooler than everyone fucking else. Other fans of hers including Kylie and Kendall Jenner. If any of you buy a pair of her shoes PLEASE SLIDE INTO MY DMS with pictures. I will envy you eternally.

RIP KARL. If you are also post-grad and newly entered the corporate world get yourself a pair of pumps and call yourself a fucking woman.
Steve Madden - Dominque Thigh High Boot.
Mine are currently in the mail. I will keep you updated on how they go. Buy yourself a pair and we could be twins. Also w/ Ariana Grande. It's like a modern day mean girls with thigh boots and t-shirt dresses.

I have been into the "pretty trend" of lace and silk since it first started gaining steam in early spring. I really really love it and fully plan on incorporating it into my fall wardrobe. Here are some styles for all your romantic cravings:

With Little Women coming out, I have decided we should all dress as if we are in the 18th century. If this dress doesn't make you daydream about reading novels on a cold British beach I don't know what will.

Why yes I have a favorite color right now. Why do you ask???? Okay but actually again amazing power blue color and if possible sexier than the Vince dress.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE. This dress is a work of art. Leaves me speechless every time.

I am huge sucker for a school girl skirt- thanks to my high school not having uniforms, its a truly missed part of my childhood. My American Apparel red and black one I got maybe 5 years ago is ridiculously overworn and one of my favorite go tos.
Thom Browne- Dropped Back Mini Pleated Skirt in School Uniform Plain Weave
Thom Browne is the epitome of all of my gender neutral school uniform fantasies. His partner is also head of the MET costume institute and happens to be the most adorable person of all time.
